You’ve stumbled across the blog of Neal Ellis, animator, designer, artist, procrastinator. This is a home for my thoughts on animation, art, design, digital media and the web, as well as my personal creative projects. I currently live in New York, and do interesting things for a big tech company.
Previously, I worked as a designer at Icelab and ZOO Ma@d in Australia, and studied at the Centre for New Media Arts at the Australian National University, specialising in Computer Animation.
When I’m not occupied by work, building web apps for fun, writing screenplays or trying to get my washing done, I’m probably busy with my current studies at Animation Mentor, learning from amazing mentors from Pixar, Disney, Dreamworks and more.
