Another render of the bright and shiny street, this time with more detailed geometry in place, and also some more interesting in-scene lighting and glow. This image is still photoshopped and enhanced a bit, it’s not all straight render- I’m still trying to get a feel for how things might look. As I model and light I’m trying to hold back and keep it simple, and by doing a little post-processing on a render like this I can check if the current scene needs more detail, texture etc within Maya, or if it looks good as is, and is ready for post.
