There’s a very interesting audio feature at Studio 360 featuring John Canemaker and Tony West talking about the end of hand drawn animation, the differences between the pencil and pixel mediums, and giving a first-hand account of the Disney Feature Animation saga. On a related note, I’m also in the process of downloading the 150Mb video of Pixar - A Human Story of Computer Animation, featuring Brad Bird, Andrew Stanton, Ed Catmull, Alvy Ray Smith and Michael Rubin. Looks exciting - will post about it when I’ve seen it!
